This is an independent community resource for parents and caregivers looking for free or low-cost things to do with kids in New England. It is not affiliated with any museum, agency, bank or program listed.

How listings are compiled

We use the organizer's own page (museum, state agency, library) wherever possible. Each listing shows its source link and the date we last read it. We deliberately skip offers we can only find on older third-party blogs. For example, some websites still list a $1 Friday night at a Boston children's museum that the museum's current page no longer shows.

What we are not

We are not the only list and we do not claim to be complete or the best. Eligibility, prices and dates are set by organizers and can change. Always verify before you travel.
